Acts 4:31 says , “And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” Boldness is a byproduct of being filled with the Holy Spirit. The dictionary defines bold as, “showing an ability to take risks; confident and courageous.” The same disciples that scattered in fear when Jesus was arrested were filled with boldness to become witnesses when the Holy Spirit came upon them.
